Daniel Obietek, erstwhile president of Orlen, was called upon to appear at the Regional Prosecutor's Office at Krakowskie Street. Suburb 25 in Warsaw on Wednesday 12 November – according to unofficial information from Onetu, confirmed by 2 independent sources.
Both are to be interviewed by detectives in Orlen
As established, the call concerns the case of Orlen utilizing the services of detectives during the period erstwhile Obietek led the company. According to the invoices for services, this company was to pay nearly PLN 3 million.
Orlen's usage of detectives was reported last March by Donald Tusk. According to the head of government, the activities of the detectives were aimed, among others, at politicians of the Civic Coalition: Marcin Kierwiński, Jan Grabić and Andrzej Halicki.
At the time, ZET radio determined that Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz (PSL), Stanisław Gawkowski (KO) and Marek Biernacki (PSL) were besides in the area of interest. "I categorically deny the reports that I should hire any detective to track down any MPs," Obietek wrote on page X.
These are the people who were expected to be curious in Orlen.
It was later revealed that the activities of the detectives besides included then president of KGHM, Tomasz Zdzikot, and Robert Soszyński, erstwhile vice president of Warsaw, and now vice president of Orlen.
