New supplier for Marina Militare

The contract for the construction of this supplier was concluded on 20 December 2021 between the Industrial Consortium of RTI (Raggruptampamento Temporaneo di Impresa), which consists of Fincantieri and Leonardo, and representing the Italian Government European Organisation for Cooperation and Cooperation in the field of Armed Forces (OCCAR – Organisation Conjointe de Cooperation sur l’Armement). The value of this agreement is about EUR 410 million. However, it does not cover the costs of the combat system, but includes ten-year operational and logistical support.
