The company's plan to make a fresh drive strategy for the Leopard 1 household tanks (including its peculiar variants) consisting of a diesel engine MTU 8V199 with a power of 1073 hp (which was interestingly shown by WZM at [MSPO 2018](https://defence24.pl/industry/mspo-2018-poznanskie-power-packie-for-carriage)) and a transmission of 4 HP 250 delivered by ZF Friedrichshafen AG. It would replace the drive unit utilized to date in the form of a 10-cylinder MTU MB 838 CaM 500 with a power of 830 hp combined with an identical transmission. FFG Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft would be liable for integrating the fresh drive strategy into the vehicle.
