Nowy Sącz 10-10-2023 we were co-organizers of the performance of Jan Pietrzak on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the election of Cardinal Karol Wojtyła to the Capital of Peter.
The gathering began by welcoming viewers by the host of the place: the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the School of Business – National Louis University in Nowy Sącz Dr. Michał Mółka. Then president of the Catholic Intelligence Club in Nowy Sącz, who co-organised the event, Bożena Jawor spoke about John Paul II's relation with the Judiciary.
After this speech, the president of the Polish paper Club in Gurgacz SJ in Nowy Sącz, who held the full meeting, said that: “We people of the first “Solidarity” and the Independent Student Association remember what John’s works were like in the 1980s: during strikes, underground, in prison, or on emigration. The title of the performance is “Thank you Polish!” and we will turn it: Poland thanks you Master!”. The master, despite his 86 years of age, was in highly good shape, and the next 1.5 hours in the area there was a loud laughter with applause and moments of large emotion.
At the end of the first president of the first “Gazeta Polska” Club in Nowy Sącz (which was created in 2008) and a associate of our Club: MP at the Polish Parliament Patryk Wicher PiS thanked the Master and gave him the conventional loaf of the best judiche bread in the world.
It was an unforgettable evening!
