On November 29th we celebrate the anniversary of the outbreak of the November Uprising, which was the independency of Poles against Russian tyranny.
At the Municipal Cemetery in Nowy Sącz, at the monument of the insurgents, we met among the club members of “Gazeta Polska” in Nowy Sącz to pay tribute to our heroes from 193 years ago.
The Red Flag floated over the gathered. We sang Mazurek Dąbrowski, prayed for the dead and murdered and lit candles, and the club president Tomasz Baliczek presented the historical outline of the Uprising.
