On Tuesday at noon, a section velocity measurement was launched on the A2 motorway between the junctions of the ellipse and Dąbie – reported the Center for Automatic Traffic Surveillance.
This is 1 of the 43 devices to be installed by mid-year.
CANARD reported that at 12 a.m. on Tuesday a section velocity measurement on the A2 motorway was launched between the junctions Koło and Dąbie (Wielkopolskie province). The monitored section is 15.2 km long.
Permissible velocity for passenger cars in this section is 140 km/h and for trucks – 80 km/h.
The section velocity measurement launched on Tuesday is 1 of the 43 devices installed as part of the CANARD expansion project. Their assembly should be completed by mid-year. It covers nearly 400 km of expressways and highways. The cost of their installation is almost PLN 85 million.
