On September 25th, Mercedes-Benz officially announced the launch of the pre-sale of its latest, full electrical CLA model in the Long-Wheelbase version on the Chinese market. This luxurious electrical sedan will be available in 2 variants, offering awesome coverage and advanced technologies to redefine the segment.
Two variants and attractive price
The fresh electrical Mercedes-Benz CLA will be available in 2 versions:
- CLA 300 L Ultra-Long scope Edition: priced from 259 000 yuan (about PLN 132 000).
- CLA 300 L Ultra-Long scope Intelligent Edition: in the pre-sales price of 29,000 yuan (about PLN 152 000).
Innovative technology and awesome coverage
Presented for the first time at the Shanghai automotive fair in 2025, the full electrical CLA with long axle spacing stands out against its standard counterpart. Built on 800V electrical architecture, the fresh model offers both rear-wheel drive configurations and all wheels.
Key method parameters:
- Range: Up to 866 km (according to the CLTC cycle).
- Energy consumption: Only 10.9 kWh per 100 km.
- Gearbox: A two-speed gearbox.
Such results put the fresh CLA at the forefront of the most efficient electrical vehicles in the market.
Design and dimensions: Elegant in enlarged edition
The plan of the electrical CLA with long axle spacing refers to the aesthetics of the standard model. The front of the vehicle is decorated with a large trapezoidal grill with many illuminated brand logos, including a central Mercedes star. Both front and rear lights are equipped with characteristic LEDs for daytime driving in the form of a three-pointed star.
The version produced in China has enlarged dimensions compared to the standard model, which translates into greater comfort inside: * Length: 4 763 mm* Width: 1 856 mm* Height: 1 469 mm* Axle spacing: 2 830 mm (40 mm more than in standard version)
Modern interior and MB.OS system
The interior of the fresh CLA has been completely redesigned and equipped with a three-screen layout:
- 10.25-inch digital set of LCD indicators.
- 14.6 inch central display of the information and amusement system.
- Optional 14-inch passenger screen.
The full is driven by the latest operating strategy MB.OS from Mercedes-Benz, which offers voice assistant based on artificial intelligence and 5G communications. Interestingly, the improvement of an intelligent driver support strategy and an information and amusement strategy was mainly liable for the Mercedes-Benz investigation and improvement squad in China.
Performance and charging technology
Under the hood, the variant with a single engine and rear wheel drive offers maximum power 268 horsepower, which allows acceleration from 0 to 96 km/h in 6.6 seconds. All-wheel drive version can boast full power 349 horsepower and acceleration to 96 km/h in just 4.8 seconds.
Energy is supplied by a lithium-tricomponent battery with a capacity of 85 kWh. Thanks to the 800V architecture, the maximum charging power is as much as 325 kW, allowing getting an additional 325 km scope in just 10 minutes.
The vehicle is besides equipped with advanced driver support strategy L2++, developed in cooperation with Chinese startup Momenta, which ensures a advanced level of safety and comfort of travel.
