The fresh phase of the fight for school – the situation of the MEN plans is getting worse!

Ladies and gentlemen,
You are 1 of the very crucial initiatives – the fresh Year's resignation petition on the dismissal of Barbara Nowacka from the position of Minister of National Education. Thanks to the engagement of tens of thousands of people, they managed to publicize the problem and to object to the direction of changes in Polish education.
Today we are addressing you again due to the fact that not only has the situation not improved – but in many areas it is further deteriorating.
What is happening in Polish education now?
The information available shows that the Ministry of National Education continues activities that rise serious concerns among parents, teachers and experts:
- Changes in the canon of reading – 1 of the foundations of Polish culture and national identity was removed from the list of school readings.
- I'm sorry. proceed to limit the function of religion in schools – decisions are constantly made that can lead to marginalisation of this subject without taking into account the voice of parents and students.
- I'm sorry. The fresh imagination of the student and school – as the ministry has announced, is to make a "new pupil", which in practice means a deep redevelopment of the existing education and education system.
- I'm sorry. deficiency of real action on key issues – alternatively of focusing on the real improvement of students and reliable education on their wellness and well-being, purely ideological projects are being pushed forward, which rise open opposition from many parents and specialists.
In the face of these changes, 1 cannot wait and see what else the Ministry of National Education, chaired by Barbara Nowacka, intends to do. We request to collect more signatures on the petition and get real action, which is to push the minister distant from the decision on the destiny of millions of children.

New phase – mandatory "health education"?
It is peculiarly worrying that despite:
- objections from thousands of parents,
- critical voices of educators and specialists,
- to sign most of the students out of class,
It has been announced that the subject of ‘health education’ can be reintroduced as mandatory.
This means entering a fresh phase of the dispute over the form of the Polish school – a phase in which the voice of thousands of citizens can be completely ignored.
That's why we're moving on.
In view of these events, we decided to enter the next phase of the protest. Our goal is:
- further publicity,
- reaching out to thousands more,
- expanding social force on decision-makers.
A fundraising is presently underway for the wide promotion of action on the network, which allows for a real increase in coverage and number of petition signatures.
With earlier actions, more than 71,660 votes of support have already been collected. Now we request to proceed this.
