On July 17, 2026, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy (MRPiPS) website reported that the Sejm had adopted an amendment to the kid Welfare Act up to 3 years old. Its main changes are:

  • Ordering of training for carers
  • Healthy food, safe fun
  • Prohibition of publication of the image of children
  • Strengthening the professional position of carers
  • Day care centre alternatively of day care

In particular, the 3rd amendment introduces a complete ban on the publication of the image of children by nursery operators, children's club or day care centre. Whether the parent has consented or not, the pictures of the children will not be available to the public.

As quoted by “Super Express” Deputy Minister Aleksandra Gajewska, the parent can inactive receive photographs of his pupils for private usage through interior communication systems. She added that it was a change “expected by parents” and “fully dictated by concern for the safety of those who cannot yet speak.”

In the following week (between 20-24 July), the bill will be dealt with by the legislature and then it will go to the President," adds the editorial board “Super Express”.
