An appeal to drivers was issued by the General Staff of the Polish Army. Almost 34,000 soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces and NATO Allied States and 600 military vehicles are to participate in the "Iron Defender-25" exercise. This means that on the roads there will be, among another things, columns that "will decision in almost all voivodships - on highways, expressways and national roads". As explained in the Communication, the exercises will run from mid-August to late September 2025 and are defensive - they are not directed against any state.
