It's been 2 months since the 5th Command Regiment of modern command wagons “Zavilec”. presently vehicles have entered the next phase – intensive test driving, implementation into the service strategy and crew training. Soldiers check them both on paved roads and in the field, under conditions that are as close as possible to real operations.
The fresh wagons are mobile command stations designed to work for 2nd Polish Corps. Their task is to guarantee continuity of command and reliable communication between command and sub-chapters – regardless of the situation, terrain or nature of the threat. It is precisely the efficient exchange of information present that determines the pace of action of the troops and the effectiveness of the decisions taken – informs D2KP-DKL press secretary Colonel Robert Białowolski.
Vehicles are equipped with advanced electronic systems and communication means to simultaneously run multiple communication channels – radio and digital. "Zawilce" allows to make mobile ICT nodes in the field, and thus make command stations where activities are presently being conducted. In practice, this means the ability to transmit orders, situational data and a real-time image of the battlefield.
- Who "Zavilec" is simply a very good vehicle, 1 of the most modern command cars in the Polish Army. The Rosomaki have proven their excellent driving and combat properties both at home and abroad, on peace and combat missions. However, it continues to surprise and amaze how this wheeled transporter manages bravely in the field, and in addition, it can enter public roads at any time, where it can make any speed, so essential erstwhile rapidly changing the position of elements of the command post," says the commander of the 5th Regiment of Command Colonel Dariusz Ludwikowski, who personally tested vehicles in the field.

Modern equipment strengthens operational capabilities and allows to execute tasks more effectively both during peace, crisis and war," adds D2KP-DKL press spokesperson Colonel Robert Białowolski.
5th Command Regiment, subordinate to 2nd Polish Corps, plays an crucial function in the command strategy of the Armed Forces of Poland. It is his soldiers who guarantee the communication and functioning of the command stations of the operational troops, which stay

The modernization of equipment shows that strong and modern armed forces are not ambition but necessity. The sovereignty of the state present is based not only on the number of soldiers, but besides on technology, interoperability and readiness to act under all conditions.
