France is another country in Europe that changes the rules of enlistment. French president Emmanuel Macron presented an overview of a fresh volunteer military service aimed at expanding the number of people who could be mobilized in the event of a war. The French paper "Le Figaro" estimates that beginning up armed forces for youth is "a good idea". It besides raises the question of finance and highlights concerns about the army's main mission being avoided.
