In the investigation into the disappearance of Iwona Evening, fresh findings appeared – the National Prosecutor's Office informed on Monday. According to Proc. Erik Stasielak, investigators have fresh evidence and are planning further activities in Sopot.
Although the prosecution was very sparing about the details of the next phase of the investigation, she pointed to a police appeal concerning 1 of its elements. Officers ask for aid all persons who can identify the white driver Fiat Cinquecento, who was seen in the Reagan Park area in Gdańsk on 17 July 2010 and then on the Rumia–Reda–around Puck route.
Iwona Evening went missing last night from 16 to 17 July 2010. After leaving the Sopot club, she returned home alone in Gdańsk, and was recorded by safety cameras. In December 2022, Paul P., a colleague of Iwona, heard allegations of obstruction of justice, with whom she played the night of her disappearance. The man was questioned respective times, and investigators searched, among others, the man's apartment.
