The president's fresh robes. Bulgaria before the parliamentary elections

On 19 April, the eighth parliamentary election in Bulgaria will take place over the last 5 years. Much indicates that, unlike erstwhile votes, a decisive winner will be elected this time. The favourite of the polls is the fresh political group, or conservative-social Progressive Bulgaria (PB). Her informal leader – erstwhile president Rumen Radew – resigned as head of state in January 2026.
