New aircraft for Sweden. Embraer C-390 will replace the Herculeses used

The fresh machines are intended to replace obsolete Hercules C-130H, known in Sweden as Tp84, which have been serving in the Swedish Air Force for years. The decision to acquisition C-390 Millennium is simply a step towards upgrading and expanding military transport capacity, as well as improving operational cooperation with another European countries within NATO. The first deliveries are planned between 2027 and 2030.
