New radars for British Typhoons

Information appeared on January 22, 2026. The contract is worth GBP 453.5 million and thus about USD 609 million. The order was made after a successful series of ECRS Mk2 radar tests. The fresh device has enhanced electronic combat capabilities, allowing detection, recognition and tracking of multiple targets in the air and on the ground.
