On Tuesday, August 5, the Sejm passed an amendment to the ceremony allowance government prepared by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy. Make it easier and faster. What precisely will change?
The ceremony allowance is intended to aid relatives of the deceased in the organization and cover the ceremony costs. The benefit shall be paid by the Social Insurance Institution and not only by household members, but besides by employers, social assistance houses and a stranger, provided that papers confirming the burial costs are presented. What will change in the ceremony allowance in 2025?

New rules for the granting of ceremony allowance. Members agreed on this
The intent of the changes is to simplify and velocity up the payment procedures. In the parliament, the draft unanimously supported 436 Members. The fresh rules shorten the withdrawal time from 30 to 14 days. Nor will ZUS' decision be essential if the ceremony costs are borne by a household member.
