New implementing acts for the eIDAS Regulation
On 28 October 2025, the European Commission adopted 3 fresh implementing regulations for the eIDAS Regulation, published in the authoritative diary of the European Union.
The fresh acts include:
- Letters of Trust (Trusted Letters)
- Compliance Assessment Bodies
- hazard management for unqualified trust services
The Regulations complement earlier acts adopted in December 2024 and in May, July and September 2025. This is another step towards the full implementation of the ecosystem of European Digital Identity.
