Experts of the Council of Europe assessed that the draft media bill presented by the Polish government in December may lead to a concentration of besides much power in the hands of the National Broadcasting Council. They besides pointed out that the proposed model of public media backing from the state budget requires mechanisms to guarantee its stableness and independency from political decisions.
