Wizz Air, a leading Hungarian airline, announced the beginning of 4 fresh connections from 3 Polish cities, including 2 routes straight from Gdańsk. In the second half of this year, travelers from Gdańsk will be able to usage direct flights to Milan and to the Portuguese island of Madeira.
The fresh way from Gdańsk to Milan will be launched on 1 October 2024. During the summertime season, Wizz Air will fly this way 4 times a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. As of November, the connections will be made on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights will be operated to Milan-Malpensa Airport, which is 1 of the largest airports in Italy, providing convenient connections to another European destinations.
Flights from Gdansk to Madeira
A second novelty for travelers from Gdańsk will be the connection to the Portuguese island of Madeira. Flights on this way will begin on 27 October 2024. Planes will run twice a week: on Thursdays and Sundays. Madeira, known for its mild climate, spectacular landscapes and rich flora, is becoming an increasingly popular vacation destination for Europeans.
