Rafał Buca, an activist of the All-Polish Youth, took the initiative to improve nighttime communication between Malbork, Tczew and Tricity. In consequence to many requests from the people of the region, especially young people, Buca calls for the night train to be launched, which would destruct the communication gap lasting from midnight to 4:00 in the morning.

Tczew, despite its strategical position, is cut off in communication from the Tricity for most of the night. This is especially burdensome for young people who frequently visit the Tricity for social purposes. In consequence to these needs, Buca proposes the introduction of a night train moving at 2:30 on Fridays and Saturdays.

The proposal besides assumes the anticipation of extending the train way to Malbork.

Letter to president Tczew

In his letter to president Tczew, Rafał Buca presents arguments for introducing a night train, highlighting its benefits to the local community. It points to 3 main advantages of this solution:

  1. Better nighttime communication: The night train will enable the residents of Tczew, Malbork and the surrounding areas to return from Tricity in late hours, which is crucial for those working on shifts, students and participants of cultural and social events.
