As conveyed at the first conference of the State Election Commission present by its head Sylwester Marciniak, the elections are proceeding smoothly. The most serious issue so far was... the escape of a commission member, whom the president led to the police station for sobriety checks.
From the words of president Marciniak, it appears that all election commissions opened on time. There have been no serious incidents in any of them so far.
Several commissions have had people recalled who had to resign due to illness and hospitalization.
