
On the day of the pardon of Robert Bąkiewicz, Andrzej Duda decided to apply the next law of grace, this time in relation to the AGH University of discipline in Krakow – informs Virtual Poland.
The president made a controversial decision to pardon Robert Bąkiewicz on 11 July. On the same day, as the WP informs, he besides applied an act of grace to a investigator at the AGH University of discipline in Krakow about the initials of K.Z.
The Presidential Palace has so far reported that the law of grace consists in "bridging the probationary probation period and ordering the detention of convictions." It was besides pointed out that the individual to whom the right of grace was applied was convicted of the offence of Article 286(1) K.k., Article 270(1) K.k., or fraud, for forgery of documents.
Details of the sentence
– Her crime was that, by acting in a continuous act, she led to an unfavourable regulation in the full amount of about PLN 51,000 of 1 of the public higher education institutions, by misleading certain expenditures, thus extorting the amount indicated, i.e. the act of Article 286 § 1 K.k. in conjunction with Article 271 § 1 K.k. in conjunction with Article 11 § 2 k.k. in conjunction with Article 12 § 1 K.k. – the HR in the National Public Prosecutor's Office learned.
Investigators besides reported that K.Z. was sentenced by a final conviction to imprisonment with conditional suspension and fine. – The judgement was handed down on 29 January 2025, and was finalized on 6 February 2025. K.Z. in March 2025 asked the court in plain order to request pardon. After the proceedings, the court took a negative view of the request and left the case without further ado – added.
