Norwegians build on Polish camp

The training centre for Ukraine's troops is being established at the fresh Deba camp, announced present by Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. It was funded by the Norwegians. They, with the support of, among others, Polish engineering units, besides conduct construction. Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that on 1 October – already during the course for Ukrainians – he would visit Nowa Dęba in the company of the heads of the defence department of the Baltic and Nordic states.

The construction of the complex in Nowa Dęba is another fresh installment of Polish-Norwegian military cooperation. Before The Norwegians sent F-35 aircraft to Krzesinwhich supported airspace protection on the east Alliance flank. On the another hand, to the airport in Rzeszów-Jasionka – where the Natov hub is located, through which military equipment from the West reaches Ukraine – were transferred Norwegian anti-aircraft and rocket systems NASAMS.

Now Norwegians have registered at the Podkarpackie camp, which for Poland is of peculiar importance. “This is our southernmost and besides the second largest field in the country,” Kosiniak-Kamish emphasizes.
