A committee of enquiry was established in the Norwegian Parliament to analyse the links between Norwegian politicians and American sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The decision was taken after the disclosure of contacts between Epstein and persons associated with Norwegian diplomacy and the political environment. Among them were erstwhile Prime Minister and erstwhile head of the MFA Thorbjoern Jagland, a longtime diplomat and co-author of agreements with Oslo Terje Roed-Larsen and erstwhile abroad Minister and until late head of the planet economical Forum in Davos Boerge Brenda.
