In connection with the ceremony of King Harald V Norway will introduce checks at the interior borders of the Schengen area from Friday – the Norwegian police present passed. They're due until September 14th.
The police want to identify and turn people who may be threatening the safety of the celebrations faster.
"The aim is to prevent people or the environment from entering Norway who want to disrupt the celebration," explained police manager Haakon Skulstad in a communication.
The biggest traffic is expected by the police at Oslo Gardermoen Airport, through which many abroad guests are to arrive under strict security.
