Norway wants to arm itself. Billions of Crowns on Defense

[The Government of Norway presented](https://www.regjeringen.no/en/aktuelt/new-norwegian-long-term-plan-on-defence-a-historic-plan/id3032878/) last week's proposal for fresh defence spending. The preliminary mention is to the **600 billion more crowns over the next 12 years, or until 2036. This amount is equivalent to about $60 billion**. In contrast, the full expenditure is to be *over 12 years of 1.6 trillion kronor**. This amount is evidence in the past of the Norwegian budget.
