On the night of Saturday on Sunday, Russian forces carried out 1 of the heaviest rocket shellings of the Ukrainian capital since the start of the war. In about forty minutes towards Kiev, nearly forty ballistic missiles flew, which damaged residential buildings in respective districts of the city. Ukrainian services reported fatalities and injuries.

The attack began at night and according to Ukrainian media it lasted about forty minutes. In specified a short time, nearly forty ballistic missiles, including Iskander missiles, fell on the capital. The Ukrainian side estimated that this was the largest number of ballistic missiles utilized against Kiev from the first days of full-scale war.
