President of PiS was asked in the Sejm on Wednesday about a task to ban the sale of alcohol during night hours.

According to Kaczyński, there is presently no method of combating alcoholism that would not rise doubt. However, he encouraged us to test various solutions so that 1 of them would yet produce the desired results.

- I'm sorry. Very frequently I am, late at night even, somewhere in the streets of Warsaw, I come back from somewhere, and I see how in those places where you can buy alcohol, there are people standing and waiting. Night Prohibition in Poland? The task went to the Sejm
On Tuesday the Left submitted to the Sejm Draft Act limiting access to alcohol. According to him, there would be a ban on the sale of alcohol at fuel stations throughout the country and a ban on its retail sale at night.
As indicated in the explanatory memorandum of the draft amendments to the Law on Sobriety Education and Anti-Drugism, the aim of the amendments is to limit excessive access to alcohol and to prevent its promotion.

The task includes a complete ban on the advertising of alcoholic beverages (including beer), a ban on sales at points specified as fuel stations and healing facilities, and a halt on access to specified products during night hours - from 22 to 6 hours.
