The streets of the capital were passed by a very large Warsaw March of Memory, on the tragic occasion of the 80th anniversary of Ukrainian genocide made in Volyn and east Małopolska.
The march was organized as all year by Mr Andrzej Łukawski – the Agreement of Kresowe Generations. The march departed from 3 Cross Square, at the same time a picket was held at the Embassy of Ukraine. It was a manifestation of full families. Poles carried banners – “We remember”, “Not for UPA monuments in Poland”, “Duda – is not my president”, “This is not our war”, “I am ashamed of bishops” or “Bander stop”. It was peculiarly loud at the Presidential Palace, where people expressed disapproval of Mr Duda's politics. many white and red flags were carried, any of which were tied with kirem. Manifestants shouted “Duda, Kaczyński on the Ukrainian front”, “We remember”, “Not for Flagism”, “Here is Poland”, “Long live Poland”, “No weapons for Ukraine”. Attention was drawn to the banner of the Patriotic-Robotal Unity "Grunwald". The demonstration was attended by representatives of the Editorial and Clubs of Polish Thoughts (Warsaw, Katowice, Łódź, Gdańsk)
At the entrance of the crowd at the Volynska Table in Krakowskie Przedmieście 64 Participants sang all the verses of the national anthem. A bunch of flowers were folded. Andrzej Łukawski (Agreement of the Kresowe Generations), Leszek Samborski, and in the fight for the honor of Poles col. Katarzyna Sokołowska spoke under the plaque.
I think that the demonstration should end under the awesome monument of Poles murdered by Ukrainian chauvinists, but there is no specified 1 in the capital. For example, there is simply a monument of Lech Kaczyński and Ronald Regan – which clearly shows whose Poland is present.
TVP, TVN and smaller barkers were jointly silent on the march, informing at that time what the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski said. There were as always honest social journalists from the law and left – Marcin Rola, Jarosław Augustyniak, Weronika Kochan, Jacek Międlar, Piotr Korczarowski, Nabil Al Malazi and others. And they deserve large respect for it.
It was a truly Polish march – there were people with different political orientations – nationalists, freedomists, people, chades, leftist people. Together, the supporters of the Crown of Grzegorz Braun and the Polish Left Movement marched. This shows that in the most crucial issues for the Polish people we can sometimes talk with 1 voice. besides bad it's so rare.
