No more clock shifts? Donald Trump wants to extend the American evenings. ‘More daylight’

Donald Trump took a clear stand as legislature begins to debate the abolition of the change in time, among others, during a proceeding convened on Thursday by the legislature Trade Commission.

Supporters of permanent summertime time, including the golf industry, argued that prolonged evening sunlight would benefit recreation and exercise while supporters of permanent standard time argued that their preferred alternate would lead to a better sleep.

Trump’s support to make summertime time the norm — alternatively of changing clocks twice a year or adjusting to standard time, which would mean more daylight in the morning and little in the evening — can aid settle the debate.

During the Thursday hearing, Senators on both sides of the political scene stated that they wanted to make certain that states were inactive free to make decisions between standard and summertime time, considering economical and wellness compromises. For example, Todd Young, a Republican senator, warned that his state, Indiana, may have not enjoy the same benefits from summertime time, as states further east, claiming that in winter the sun may emergence after 9 a.m.
