No breakthrough on wage growth in the budget. The formation of government-Solidarity team

Even before the beginning of today's gathering with Prime Minister Matusz Morawiecki, the president of NSZZ "Solidarity" Piotr Duda said that he hoped that "the gathering present will let us to proceed dialogue, not monologue on the 1 hand, and we will actually come to an agreement" – he said. However, as it turns out, it has not been possible to bring about a breakthrough on the level of next year's valorisation. "(...) we agreed together that we are not able to solve these problems for an hr and a half," said Piotr Duda after the meeting, referring to issues of elder pensions and increases in wages in the budgetary sphere. In the coming days, however, a Solidarity-government working squad is to be appointed, which urgently addresses, among others, the issue of wage increases and salaries in the "budget".
