Three companies with Bochni under scrutiny
NIK published on July 22, 2026 the results of inspections of municipal companies in the Małopolska Voivodeship. The survey included 3 companies from Bochnia: Bocheńskie Zakłady Usług Kommunalnych, the Municipal Waterworks and Sewerage Company and the Municipal Heat Energy Company.

At the same time, the study identified irregularities. NIK wrote about the activities of any companies outside the scope of public interest, violations Public procurement rights, problems with due diligence and inappropriate supervision of wages.
Money and Responsibility
The study contains circumstantial amounts. 4 companies paid undue salaries to members of supervisory boards in the full amount of PLN 433.5 thousand. In 3 companies from Bochnia the remuneration of the president of supervisory boards was determined with an increase higher than the limit, which NIK calculated at PLN 20,1 1000 in surplus.
The Chamber besides stated that in all 3 Bochen companies the variable remuneration of the governors was increased by a full of PLN 55.9 thousand. specified numbers are not abstract. It's money that comes from a strategy of services paid by residents.
