Three years ago, on 13 February 2023, the KM3Net/ARCA detector, located off the coast of Sicily, registered something unusual: a neutrino about energy of about 220 PEV. This is 16,000 times the energy of the most powerful collisions that occurs in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). This event was reported in February 2025 in Nature. At the time, it was not known what could have been the sources of neutrino with specified large energy. Now KM3Net/ARCA scientists have informed that neutrino may have come from a distributed stream generated by a group of blazars.
