Restless in Iran. US Embassy Alert

[Virtual U.S. embassy in Iran](https://ir.usembassy.gov/security-alert-land-border-crossings-february-5-2026/) published an alert in which it calls on U.S. citizens located in the territory of this mediate East country to “consider” the fastest possible departure to Armenia or Turkey. At the same time, it is advised not to leave Iran by utilizing border crossing points with Afghanistan, Pakistan or Iraq.
