Greece's Land troops do not have modern combat infantry wagons in the state ([just 40 Marders 1A3](https://defence24.pl/defence-defence-policy/first-German-marders-juz-in-greece) and possibly any pool [BMP-1A1 Ost](https://defence24.pl/war-on-ukrainie-report-special-defence24/greece-transfer-rail-bmp-1-ukrainie)), based almost exclusively on caterpillar transporters M113 (approximately 2000 pieces) and Leonidas II (near 500 wagons). Athens has long looked into the successors of at least part of the utilized vehicles of American production, analyzing for many years various structures with both wheeled and caterpillar traction.
