The Tatra National Park is alarmed: highly dangerous behaviour occurs in Kasprowa Wierch. Tourists come down from the top on alleged apples, although it is forbidden and threatens with serious accidents, the victims of which can be not only slides, but besides bystanders.
As TPN emphasizes, Kasprowy is not a recreational mountain, but a high-mountain area where in winter there are hard conditions that prevent effective braking and safe bypassing of others. On the icy slopes it is easy to lose control, and the driven tourist becomes a real threat.
TPN recalls that akin "fun" had already ended in dramas – last year 1 of the tourists, after a ski ride on the buttocks, suffered severe injuries and went to the infirmary on a TOPR helicopter. The park calls for reasonableness and respect for principles. In winter, Tatras require appropriate preparation.
