German media: Poland accepted a exile from Somalia

The German paper “Bild” reported that the Polish authorities agreed to accept a exile from Somalia, who in May this year and 2 another migrants came from our country to Germany.

The editorial “Bilda” quoted German interior minister Alexander Dobrindt. He said that in Dublin proceedings concerning 1 of 2 male Somali applicants, the Polish Migration Office accepted the German readmission application in October 2025.

– Germans can send Somali exile back to Poland. His request for asylum was rejected by the national Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF). The deportation has already been ordered – we read.

Details missing

The decision to deport a man was made by the authorities of the Land of Berlin. The editorial adds that the local migration office does not want to uncover besides many details, which is the reason for the request to “keep a secret”.

In the opinion of the editorial board of the said journal, the consent to receive a migrant from Somalia is simply a "gift of goodwill" from Polish authorities before Polish-German intergovernmental consultations, which will take place on 1 December.
