Germany increases the ‘rescue’ frigate programme. They will spend another EUR 5 billion

The Bundestag Budget Committee approved on 8 October the acquisition of 4 further F128. The program that replaced the cancelled F126 will thus grow to 8 ships. The first unit is scheduled to enter the German Navy in late 2029.
