Germany order more Leopards 2?

The German government signed a framework agreement last year for the acquisition of up to 123 Leopard 2A8 tanks, which allows the acquisition of them by another countries as well. 1 of them was the Czech Republic, which gotta buy for themselves about 58 (the number of about 76 cars previously mentioned afraid all vehicles to be obtained including those supporting them). Berlin itself has so far ordered only 18 copies, which replace the A6 cars delivered to Ukraine. Thus, under the existing framework agreement, 47 tanks stay to be purchased by Germany. The acquisition of 35 Leopards 2A8 would amount to around EUR 1 billion and their service time is expected to be around 25 years, although it will be alternatively a much longer period. Deliveries would start in 2026 if the contract was signed by the end of the current calendar period and would most likely be vehicles for the German tank battalion to hit Lithuania.
