[In the mid-April](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/Australia-manufacturing-fighting-cars-repair-for-German) we informed about the signing of a contract by the Australian subsidiary of the Rheinmetall company with its administration for the production of 123 KTO Boxer-based combat reconnaissance wagons. More than 100 of them will be sent to Germany, where they will replace light caterpillar reconnaissance vehicles Wisel 1. Consent to this acquisition was issued by the Bundestag budget committee [at the end of March](https://defence24.pl/industry/agreement-on-billion-purchase-for-bundeswehr). Only 3 weeks after signing this document, a test copy was sent to the future user in the form of German land troops. It is intended to let for tests from which conclusions and possible amendments will be implemented in the mark configuration of the vehicle. His reception was attended by, among others, Secretary of State in the defence ministry of Siemtje Möller and Maj-Gen Christian Freuding.
