Germany criticises French defence spending

In an interview with “Deutschlandfunk” Wadephul said: “Unfortunately, the efforts made so far in France are insufficient,” he said. "We must accomplish the level of spending 5% of GDP on defence. We in Germany are pursuing this goal; our budgets and medium-term financial planning make it possible," the Minister said.
