Criticizing European allies for refusing to join the war with Iran, Donald Trump weakens NATO's deterrence and encourages Vladimir Putin's Russia to attack – German newspapers write. According to "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung" the president of the United States actually "half already left NATO", and Article 5 ceased to be the basis for defending allies.
