Signed lex Tusk
In July last year, Andrzej Duda challenged his position, as Bloomberg quoted, as he then approved lex Tusk — a bill criticized by both the US and the EU as a cunning maneuver to interfere in October elections in Poland. This solution, which was pushed through rape by the Law and Justice, was expected to prove the alleged ties of Polish politicians to Russia in Poland, but critics were right to see, as Bloomberg maintains, that in fact it was primarily a political weapon against Donald Tusk, the current Prime Minister.
PiS was incredibly afraid of Tusk, which is evidenced by the fact that erstwhile he was in power in public media, in fact, the leader of KO in “News” was shown, as he says: “für Deutschland, and it was besides notoriously recalled that he was walking on the Sopot pier with Vladimir Putin. It was expected to propose that he was a putinist. Over time, most likely under force from the Americans, the amendment of the Commission Act to examine Russia's influence on Poland's interior safety from 2007 to 2022 was signed by the President, but in the fresh version it was impossible to take any anticipation of acting as Prime Minister.
He entrusted the mission of creating the Moravian government
Although it was clear after the election that the fresh government created the KO coalition, the 3rd Way, the Left, Andrzej Duda believed the words of Mateusz Morawiecki, which assured the naive part of the public that it would lead to the coalition regulation of the Law and Justice with any formation in parliament. Well, it didn't work out. People who were insulted by Jarosław Kaczyński before the elections as... anti-clerics did not make specified a deal, although PiS was counting on conservative unity with PSL, while the Confederacy did not want to disappoint its voters and besides refused to accept the alliance with the PiS.
Meanwhile, despite the fact that the arrangement of forces in Polish politics was known even to laymen, the president decided to take part in the farce and postpone the oath of the government of Donald Tusk. He spoke of the “good custom” of entrusting the mission of creating a fresh cabinet to a typical of the winning group. The point is that so far in the III Republic, no situation has been observed that the organization that won the most votes does not have coalition abilities, so PiS supposedly won, but de facto lost.
The stubbornness of Wąsik and Kamiński
Now the president insists that he pardoned the convicted Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik, despite the fact that the Labour Chamber of the SN had a different opinion and the parliamentary credentials of both were terminated. In fact, the president was so looped in his twisted logic that he was already kind to say that... he acquitted the politicians of the Law and Justices. Meanwhile, there is no specified prerogative, he can only pardon criminals, which leads to them getting out of prison, but they have no right to enter Parliament as Members anymore.
Professor Matczak believes that Andrzej Duda's first decision to pardon both PiS politicians before a final conviction is akin to giving divorce to fiancés. And that is not all, Andrzej Duda believes that there is simply a “terror of the regulation of law” in Poland. Until now, erstwhile he was accused of appointing judges-dublers to the Constitutional Court or creating neo-KRS, he had no reflection on the law in Poland...
Let us add that the president is not consistent with TVP, too, due to the fact that he himself admitted in an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet that public media were a organization propaganda tube of TVP, and now acts as a zealous defender of fresh orders led to Voronicz by Culture Minister Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz.
