Niedersachsen on the way to Turkey

On 7 November, the naval base of Deutche Marine Heppenser Groden (Marinestützpunkt Heppenser Groden) in Wilhelmshaven, Lower Saxony, was left for the last time by the Niedersachsen frigate (F 208) of the Bremen (F 122) type. Niedersachsen was the second (of eight) Bremen-type frigates to service between 1982 and 2022.
