We are building civilian society

The last weeks have shown how widely the “Polish Newspapers” Clubs in Poland and abroad work today. In addition to meetings in halls, churches and cultural institutions, the net is besides becoming increasingly important: from online debates to open conversations on social media. Against this background, the common denominator is clear: defending free speech, supporting independent media and civic activity where consequence is needed.

#NEDLASAFE
WARSAW| A protest was held in front of the Presidential Palace in Warsaw under the slogan “Not for SAFE”, co-organised by the “Gazeta Polska” Clubs. The participants met with white-red flags and banners, expressing opposition to the EU's SAFE financial instrument. In the opinion of organizers, this solution may in the future restrict the decision-making freedom of Poland in financial and defence matters. The event was led by Beata Drędź, president of the “Polish Newspapers” Club in Piotrków Trybunalski. In her speech, she spoke of concerns about the conditionality mechanics and possible consequences for state sovereignty. Adam Borowski, president of the “Polish Gazeta” Club in Warsaw, besides took the floor, who made an appeal to president Karol Nawrocki and called for him to veto the law implementing SAFE.

Peace for the Xth Gykl Talks with the Journals of the Republic moved on good

“Polish Newspapers” Club on X platform (formerly Twitter) initiated a series of open audio talks with tv editors Republic and Radio Republic. Meetings are held in the X Space expression – live, with the anticipation of asking questions and talking to guests in real time. The initiative is simply a consequence to expanding attacks against the Republic and rapidly attracted a large audience.

The first gathering was held on 24 January 2026. The guest was red. Adrian Stankowski, who spoke, among others, about the beginnings of tv Republic, organisational difficulties and the construction of an independent medium, as well as about the start and function of Radio Republic. The second meeting, on 31 January 2026, was conducted with the participation of Miłosz Kłęczek, who talked about his work in the station, the first formats and how he received direct contact with viewers in this formula.

The turnout confirmed that specified an initiative was needed. The organizers are announcing a follow-up. The rooms were professionally prepared and led by the president of the “Gazeta Polska” Club X/Twitter: @malbojko and the club members @Mir_AS_, @Prem_reborn.

MEDAL PRO ECCLESIA FOR THE TADROW BOGUSLAW

ELBLĄG II| Bogusław Tadrski, president of the “Gazeta Polska” Club Elbląg II named after Lech Kaczyński, was honored with the Pro Ecclesia Medal. The ceremony was held in Czestochowa, Jasna Góra, after Mass in the Chapel of the Miraculous Image. The award was awarded for years promoting Christian and patriotic ideas and activities in environments for which the slogan “God, honor, homeland” remains a real commitment. In his speech, Bogusław Tadrowski emphasized the importance of community and support for the patriotic community, directing words of gratitude to colleagues and friends.

ACT OF CONCLUSION OF MARY, THE QUEEN OF POLAND, BY THE ‘GP’ CLUBS

PARTICULARJanusz Kochanowski “Gazeta Polska” Club in Częstochowa made an act of entrustment to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Poland. The ceremony was held on 7 February at Jasna Góra. On behalf of the community, the text of entrustment was read by club president Ewa Wypych and Anna Żurek. Club members entrusted their activities, household and further work to the parent of God.

SOLIDARITY WITH SILESIA COPAL WORKERS

CZECHOVINE-BAdziERS| A demonstration with respective 100 people took place before the Silesia Mine in Czechowice-Dziedzice. Protesters demanded that the workers made redundant work again and that December's arrangements were respected. The event was besides attended by representatives of clubs, including the “GP” club Częstochowa, who expressed solidarity with the protesters.

PATRIOTIC BAL AND CLUB INTEGRATION

DECLARATIONThe “Polish Newspapers” Club organized the first Patriotic Ball. The event began mass for the intention of the homeland, then the polonaza danced. The task of the Monument of the Cursed Soldiers planned in the city was besides presented, and the artistic part was graced by the performance of the OT.TO cabaret.

WARSHAW-BIELANA-ŻOLIBORZThe club “Gazeta Polska” organized a carnival ball integrating the club environment and sympathizers.

OPEN| “Gazeta Polski” Club Otwock participated in the integration gathering in Dąbrowka (Celestine Municipality), the main point of which was the winter slab. Adam Borowski took part in the event, so there was an chance to talk in a little formal atmosphere.

KEY TO THE NETHERLANDS OF THE REPUBLIC

PABIANICSPabianice’s “Polish Newspapers” Club participated in the “Republic Club” programme on tv Republic. The presence of club members in the studio was a form of active participation in public debate and free media support.

MEETINGS AND DEBATES ON STATE MATTERS – CAPROST, WITH SEAL QUESTIONS

The beginning of the year in the “Polish Gazeta” Clubs was marked by many meetings, discussions on public matters, security, sovereignty, historical memory and the function of citizens. A strong media subject – meetings with journalists of tv Republic.

An online gathering with Dr. Oskar Kida with the participation of Paweł Piekarczyk was held in Mississippi (Canada).
The club “GP” in Pleszew organized a gathering with Daniel Obatki, Mateusz Morawiecki, Marlena Maląg and Jan Dziedziczak. There were over 500 people on the scene, and any of the participants did not fit in the room.
In Gdańsk (the “GP” Club Gdańsk II), Dr Oskar Kida gave a lecture entitled “The Competences of the president of Poland to Appoint Judges”.
A thematic gathering was held in Puławy concerning the CWB ad hoc courts with the participation of Paweł Wąsa (IPN).
A gathering with Dr. Oskar Kida and Robert Bąkiewicz was organized in Kielce (the “GP” Club Kielce-Centrum), dedicated among others to the political and safety of the state.
Meetings with Adam Borowski, Robert Bąkiewicz, Dr. Oskar Kidy and Jack Wrona took place in Legnica and in the Silesian Wednesday. The talks focused on the current challenges of the state and civic responsibility.
In Garwolin, the club “GP” together with Grzegorz Wozniak organized a gathering with Prof. Przemysław Czarnek.
A gathering with Mateusz Morawiecki and Daniel Obietka took place in Plesheva/Kalisz (the initiative of the “GP” club Pleshev and MP Jan Mosinski).

A gathering with Mariusz Błaszczak and Jacek Sasin was organised in Kościerzyn (the club “GP” and Dorota Arcziewska-Mielewczyk).
Meetings with Tobias Bocheński, Jack Sasin and Sebastian Lukaszewicz were held in Białystok and Bielsko Podlaski (the initiative of the “GP” Brańsk Club and councillor of the Seymik Artur Kosicki).
In Jastrzębie-Zdrój there was a gathering with Euro MP Daniel Obietka.
W Koszalinie club “GP” organized a gathering with Mr Małgorzata Golińska.
In Bytom, there was a gathering with associate Wojciech Sharama.
W An open gathering with Marek Jakubiak was organized.
Meetings with Robert Bąkiewicz were held in Ostrowc Świętokrzyski and Bartoszice.
W Częstochowa held a gathering with tv writer Republika Miłosz Kłczek.
A gathering with ed. Adrian Klarenbach was organized in Aleksandrów Łódź.
In Susz, as part of the inauguration of the “GP” Club, a gathering was held with the participation of the MPs Andrzej Śliwka and Kacpra Plażyński.
The “GP” club of Wednesday Silesia organized a gathering with Mr Michał Wójcik.
The club “GP” Olsztyn hosted the Euro MP Tobias Bocheński.
The club “GP” Dąbrowa Górnicza II organized a gathering with Jack Sasin and Robert Warwas.
The club “GP” Myślenice co-organized a gathering with Przemysław Czarnki.
