There was no interference during the transmission of the Polish-Lithuania match – announced the spokesperson of satellite operator Eutelsat Joanna Darlington.
Before the match Poland-Lithuania tv Poland provided information about possible interference in satellite transmission signal, citing the operator Eutelsat and informing against possible interferences.
Eutelsat conducted an investigation that revealed that there was no disturbance. The operator’s spokesperson besides reported that Eutelsat was not asked to supply alternate satellite segments.
Previously, the manager of TVP athletics Jakub Kwiatkowski reported that there was an effort to interfere with the satellite frequency, and the transmission of the match was carried out without interference by expanding signal power. He pointed out that akin trials are increasingly common.
