West Pomeranian local governments worked to make the first national park in 24 years. There was a bill, but the Lower Odra Valley National Park will not be, due to the fact that that is what president Karol Nawrocki decided. "This is simply a very disappointing decision, all the more so due to the fact that it was the inhabitants who wanted to establish this park and in a democratic procedure they voted in all the municipalities in which this park was to be, consent to its appointment," said Adam Rudawski in TVN24 of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
