Moldova and Poland will deepen their cooperation in the field of defence in order to address modern threats of a different nature. The presidents of Moldova and Poland informed about this on 26 January in Warsaw during a joint press conference.

Polish president Karol Nawrocki stressed that Warsaw is supporting Moldova in the military sphere, and cooperation between the defence departments of both countries is developing in respective key areas.

The president of Moldova, Maia Sandu, pointed out that Chisinau and Warsaw are continuing to work on an agreement in the field of defence aimed at responding to contemporary threats.

– We update and deepen bilateral cooperation in the field of defence. It will include issues of state resilience, combating hybrid threats and protecting critical infrastructure. We are ready to learn from Poland and share our own experiences," Sandu said.

During his visit to Poland, the Moldovan defence minister Anatolie Nosatîi joined the delegation of Moldova.
