About a 3rd of Moldova's people have never left their country's borders, but only about 20% of them regularly travel Moldovan – according to the latest public opinion poll conducted by the iData institute, the results of which were published on 28 May.
According to survey data, 19.9% of respondents travel abroad respective times a year, 15.8% – about erstwhile a year, 13.1% – erstwhile all 2-3 years, and 17.5% – even less. As many as 33.2% of respondents admitted that they were never abroad.
The most frequently surveyed go on abroad holidays to Romania (26.4%), Turkey (22.6%), Italy (18%), Bulgaria (15.9%) and Greece (10.3%).
The survey was conducted on 17-24 May at a example of 1006 respondents. The maximum statistical mistake is ą3%.
